We hold the rights to display and use this content within the app. Elevate News does not claim ownership of the content provided by our API partners and holds no responsibility for what is shown to users through our API. Permission: Users are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, remix, modify, or create derivative works from content within the app without express permission from Elevate News other than using the share feature to share articles.

Protection Under Law: The content available on our app is protected under copyright laws, which safeguard intellectual property irrespective of the business structure of Elevate News. This includes text, graphics, logos, and images sourced from our content providers.

Imagery: Images within the app Elevate News are sourced from various sources which we license from. Images used in articles, as mentioned above, come from NewsAPI.AI. All other images are licensed from “Adobe Stock Photos” (https://stock.adobe.com/) and “Death to Stock Photos” (https://www.deathtothestockphoto.com/)

User Accounts

Account Creation: When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. This includes storing emails and other personal data like profile pictures in Google’s Firebase. You can learn more about Firebase and Google’s security policy at https://firebase.google.com/

Third-Party Sign-in: When you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we only collect the information that these services provide us, such as your email address and name. No additional information is collected by us through these services. This helps streamline your login process and ensure the security and integrity of your login information. We are not responsible for the security or management of the third-party sign-in technology itself. Account Responsibilities: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the app and for any activities or actions under your password.

Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your account, which means removing your login information, please click here or email us at info@elevatenewsapp.com. The deletion process may take up to 30 business days to complete.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the app to engage in any unlawful behavior or in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of the app. Extracting data from our source code is strictly prohibited.

Content Sharing

Users are allowed to share articles using the in-app sharing feature, which primarily provides a link to the app store, encouraging others to download and engage with our app. This feature is intended to facilitate easier access to and distribution of our content in a manner that respects copyright ownership.

Data Privacy

We do not sell your data to third parties. Your personal information and profile data are securely stored in Google’s Firebase and are used solely for the operation of this app.

AI Features

The ‘Summarize with AI’ feature and Positivity Ranking Score are powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Elevate News is not responsible for any inaccuracies or false information provided by these AI features.

Communication

We reserve the right to contact you with important information regarding your account and updates to our products.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

Any claims about promoting mental health and well-being are strictly based on opinion and user feedback. Currently, we do not possess empirical evidence to prove the efficacy of our content on mental health.

Positivity Selection and Ranking

We showcase articles that NewsAPI.AI deems positive based on their in-house natural language processor (NLP) To take it a step further, the Positivity score on each article given is by OpenAI’s chatGPT.
